Call for VR Projects

Lieu.City opens the virtual doors of its platform to host exhibitions closed by Covid: 8 exhibition projects can be transformed into virtual exhibitions on the platform

From 1 April to 31 May 2021 the call for selection

Museums and non-profit organizations, which have seen their activities interrupted or modified due to Covid, will be able to propose - from 1 April 2021 to 31 May 2021 - projects related to exhibitions of modern, contemporary and design art.

The selection of the 8 projects will be made on the basis of various criteria, such as the cultural relevance of the proposed contents, the effectiveness of the communication plan, the feasibility and the technical and managerial skills of the team.

The first 3 classified projects will be entitled to the "Custom Consultancy" package, which provides for advanced customization of the exhibition environments (up to a total value of 10,000 euros per project), while the remaining 5 will benefit from the "Standard Consultancy" package. ”, By which we mean a complete support from the technical team of the promoter aimed at guiding the museum in the realization of a virtual exhibition in one of the standard Lieu.City environments.

Each selected team will also be provided with support by qualified mentors and periodic meetings with teams of experts to discuss and exchange ideas and opinions. All the museums chosen will have the opportunity to see their exhibition project realized within the Lieu.City platform.
